Welcome to Murang’a University of Technology (MUT)-TVET Institute. The Institute was registered on 21st July 2021 as a Technical and Vocational College in accordance with the TVET ACT, 2013 Section 20 (1). The institute is domiciled within Murang’a University of Technology, Murang’a County.
MUT-TVET Institute is fully accredited by the Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) to provide training in Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) courses at Diploma and Certificate levels. MUT-TVET Institute complies with requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standards. Our courses and services are thus designed to ensure global standards, customer satisfaction, and certification is credible and recognized.
The Institute endeavors to offer skill-based training, fostering creation of employment and wealth through the application of Science, Technology, and Innovation. In recognition of Kenya’s vison 2030 on industrialization, our curriculum implementation model takes cognizance of the needs of industry by giving the trainees intensive hands-on training in specific trade areas. The TVET courses offer greater employment opportunities for individuals with the required skills.
