MUT Rugby Teams Shine at KUSA Central Conference

Chuka University rugby arena was set ablaze as the Murang’a University of Technology (MUT) Rugby teams showcased their prowess in the KUSA Central Conference competitions. Held at Chuka University on 3rd and 4th February 2024, this thrilling event marked the second leg of the conference, following the initial showdown hosted by Dedan Kimathi University of Technology on 18th and 19th November 2023.

In a display of exceptional skill and determination, both the men’s and women’s MUT Rugby teams delivered stellar performances across both legs of the competition. Their dedication and hard work paid off handsomely, culminating in an outstanding achievement – securing the coveted second position in the KUSA Central region.

The consolidated results from the second leg held at Chuka University sealed the deal for both MUT Rugby teams at position two each as well as affirming their qualification for the upcoming national competitions. Set to take place at Pwani University on 24th and 25th February 2024.
