Murang’a University of Technology 8th Graduation Ceremony

Murang’a University of Technology (MUT) wishes to inform all candidates who have qualified for conferment of Degrees and award of Diplomas and Certificates of MUT that the University shall hold its 8th Graduation Ceremony on Friday, 23rd August, 2024 starting at 9 A.M. The Graduation Ceremony will be streamed live via TV and the University YouTube, Facebook and Instagram accounts from the University Graduation Grounds. The information regarding preparations for the ceremony is as detailed below:

i. Confirmation of the Candidates Graduation Status

The list of graduands for the 8th Graduation Ceremony will be available at the various Schools and Departments and on the University website (www.mut.ac.ke) from Monday, 5th August, 2024. All candidates are required to ascertain the correctness of the spelling of their names as well as the order in which they should appear in the certificates before Thursday, 8th August, 2024 at 5 P.M.

ii. Graduation Fees

The  graduation charges as stated in the table below must be paid not later than Friday, 9th August, 2024. Payments details are available on the link Below

In addition, graduands must have cleared with all relevant departments by Friday, 9th August, 2024.

iii. Graduation Gowns

Students wishing to hire gowns for portrait purposes may request for the same by filling in the application forms and paying the requisite fees. The graduation gowns will be issued from Friday, 16th August, 2024 up to Thursday, 22nd August, 2024 upon production of the National Identity Card. Application forms for hire of graduation gowns and clearance forms can be downloaded from the University website.

Please note: The gowns should be returned on or before Monday, 2nd September, 2024 at 5 P.M. Thereafter, a penalty of Ksh. 500 will be charged per day.
