A key component of the three-day programme is hands-on facilitator training, where participants experience the Girls Prototype activities as learners before taking the methodology into their respective settings. The training covers practical prototyping activities as well as cyber safety and digital hygiene, data collection, monitoring and implementation planning.
The programme also incorporates cultural and experiential learning, with participants scheduled to undertake a guided excursion to Mukurwe wa Nyagathanga, providing an opportunity for cultural learning alongside the technical and educational components of the training. The final day focuses on continued practical training, prototyping and school-level planning, culminating in a wrap-up and presentation of certificates to participants.
