The Directorate is unwavering in its commitment to ensuring our students receive a comprehensive and quality education that is relevant to today’s ever-changing world. Our robust quality assurance processes, which include regularly monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our academic programs and processes, are a testament to our commitment to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
The Directorate liaises with the Commission for University Education (CUE) to ensure the alignment of our programs with national standards and participates in capacity-building initiatives to continuously improve academic processes. Our commitment to excellence and creating an environment where quality education and operational efficiency go hand in hand is unwavering, providing all our stakeholders with reassurance and confidence in our University.
The Directorate works closely with schools and departments to ensure that our curriculum, teaching, and evaluation methods meet the highest standards of excellence and identify improvement areas. We take external stakeholder evaluation seriously and work promptly to address any areas of concern raised in their reports. This commitment to maintaining the integrity and reputation of our academic programs and processes is a cornerstone of our work.
By leveraging technology, the Directorate collects and analyzes feedback from course evaluations and exit surveys and monitors lecture take-off and examination administration. We value our students’ input and continually use this feedback to enhance our programs and services. These data-driven insights are crucial to helping the University understand the student experience and make informed decisions that enhance our students’ academic journeys and our staff’s professional development.
The Directorate’s performance management system supports our staff’s professional development. We use feedback from course evaluations and other assessments to organize pedagogy training and other teaching-support workshops, enhancing the quality of education we provide to our students.
