The Directorate adheres to policies that guide the admission of students into postgraduate programmes at Murang’a University of Technology. It also oversees the progression of students through the various stages of research such as proposal approval, supervisor approval and thesis examination. The Directorate works in close collaboration with all Schools and other members of the University to achieve this. The Directorate is proud to report that several master’s and PhD students successfully completed their degrees within the recommended time.
DPGS is convinced that graduands are fully equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet societal challenges head-on. This is because the training provided at the postgraduate level is rigorous. As MUT ambassadors, we charge graduands to always make contributions that will propel Kenya towards achieving its Vision 2030.
The Directorate welcomes students graduating with bachelor’s degrees to join master’s programmes. All that graduands need to do is to identify a master’s degree that aligns well with their bachelor’s degree, and then apply for it. For further career advice, graduands are advised to contact the Director of Postgraduate Studies.
