Murang'a University of Technology (MUT) is honoured to host Her Excellency Rebecca Nyandeng De Mabior, Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan, for a distinguished public lecture on Tuesday, 25th August, 2026 at the University.

The public lecture, themed “From Liberation to Nation Building: Lessons from South Sudan's Journey,” will provide an important platform for reflection on the liberation struggle of South Sudan, the country's journey towards self-determination, and the continuing pursuit of peace, national reconciliation and inclusive development.

MUT warmly welcomes the University community and the public to this distinguished lecture and unique opportunity to learn from one of South Sudan's prominent liberation and political leaders.
